Christmas at Hetland

Santa likes to ‘ring the changes’

Christmas may not be here just yet, but Santa is already busy planning for the big day and of course, he is getting very excited about his annual visit to Hetland Garden Centre.

Knowing that Santa likes to vary his routine, (after all, we don’t want him to get bored do we?) our Elves have been deep in discussion with him about his plans for visiting Hetland in December.

Santa is concerned that he has become very popular and each year more and more children want to visit him here at Hetland. So, he has come up with a brilliant idea …. He suggested to us that this year we do not charge to see him, which will mean that he will not be giving presents. Instead, Santa will be telling stories to all his visitors. As always he will be accompanied by an Elf and his reindeer will also be in the Garden Centre ready to fly him off on his rounds on Christmas Eve.

So … just turn up, hear some wonderful stories and enjoy meeting his reindeer.

The best part? It’s all free!

New for Christmas 2017

For Christmas 2017, we will be converting part of the Hetland DinoPark into a brand new Winter Walk Way which takes you on a magical tour around a section of the DinoPark, lit up with thousands of lights. Under the covered canvas at the entrance to the DinoPark, Santa will be set up telling stories with plenty of hay bales for everyone to sit on and listen in.

Hetland Garden Centre will be open every day throughout December until 5.30pm including the Oak Tea Room, part of the DinoPark will be open with The Winter Walk Way and the DinoSoft Play.

There will be no admission to see Santa this year and collection buckets will be available for the charity Dreams Come True.

Reindeer 2017

We are really excited to announce that because they had so much fun coming to meet all of the boys and girls last year, Santa is lending us some of his Reindeer again! They will be in the Garden Centre daily from November 12th, so come along and meet them.
